In our environment we need to manage the portfolio of change. Technology driven, but then also safety, medical, regulatory. It's a lot. So we need both the individual and the collective view on change implementation.
Strategy you can get someone to help you. But for implementation all you have is your management, their leadership capabilities and strength of your people. That’s what you have to implement. You have to work with what you have and that’s often the challenge.
I'm spending over a million a month right now and I have no idea whether I'm getting value from it.
The biggest challenge I had was in bringing the strategy. The strategy was the easy part and we often got outside help to craft the strategy. How we got alignment, and commitment to the strategy through timely measurable results was the challenge. Most organizations struggle with this today.
